A Life of Uncommon Impact
Professor Zacharias Tanee Fomum was born on 29 June 1945 in Cameroon. Born again at the age of 11 on 13 June 1956, his life was forever transformed by an encounter with the Living God that would ultimately reshape the spiritual landscape of the entire world.
Academically, Prof. ZTF achieved the highest levels of distinction. He earned a BSc First Class from Fourah Bay College (1969), a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Makerere University (1973), and a D.Sc from the University of Durham, UK (2005) — the first Cameroonian to achieve this high distinction.
He authored over 350 books published in more than 100 languages with over 10 million copies in circulation worldwide. He founded the Christian Missionary Fellowship International (CMFI), which today has churches in 155+ nations across all six continents.
He undertook over 700 missionary journeys across Cameroon and ministered in over 70 nations, fulfilling his burning passion to see the Gospel reach every corner of the earth.
